As jade angrly walked through the forest, she thought of how much she had said to her father. How she had said all those bad things. Jade really men't them, too. She'd feel that pain every day. But unlike her mother, her father didn't understand. he just thinks she feels like her life is terrible. But that wasn't the truth. She had lost everything the past year. her mother, her friends, her since of family, and love; so she hasn't been the same person as she was last year. She changed like she was a totally different person. Her life had changed a lot. And it is very hard for her to adapt to it. Jade will turn 18 in November, so it wasn't long before she could move away to some place that makes her happy. But at the time Jade felt like the only thing that made her happy, was being away from everyone else.
Ell decided to walk further in the forest than he had before. As he stood he heard birds chirping at each other
" What?"
Ell made a half smile and looked up at the robins.
As he started to walk north he started to think nonsence. about how he could just not marry a girl that made him happy. but the he shook the thought from his mind.
" Nonsence"
He put his hands in his vest pockets walking further than north than he had before.
Jade's mind slowly drifted away as she thought of her mother and her walking on the same path as jade walked.
"Where are we going mommy?" 6 year old Jade looking up at her mother was very happy to go on an adventure.
" you'll see, dear."
As jade looked up she tried to hold back the tears forming in her eyes. As she walked toward the river, she formed a small smile. Remembering her and her mother having a picnic on the rocky riverside.
Looking pasted the trees Ell heard flowing water. He was quite thirsty and needed to hidrate so he could get moving. but as he neard toward the sound he also heard another human being...crying. He didn't know who it was but as he snuck up to a tree to see who it was, he was surprised.
Jade was balling. She was so lost and confused. She had no were else to go. Everything that had happened was beating her up from the moment she lost her mother. She felt as though her whole world was shattering like a hammer to glass.
As the young woman sat there and wipped her tears Ell was trying to fight the eardge to go confront her. He didn't want to interrupt her but she looked like she needed to talk with someone.But Ell knew She was from another place, perhaps another village. He also knew that he wasn't suppose to talk or socialize with other Clans, but she looked so depressed.
Jade suddenly stood from the large rock and walked closer to the water. She remembered that her mother always let her swim in the very shallow water, but only with someone around. As she felt the cool, flowing stream on her hand she heard the bushes russle on the other side of the thin river.
Ell was trying not to make a sound but it wasn't easy. The crunchy leaves and bushes where not very quiet. Then he thought to himself that he probably shouldn't be spying on girls like this. So he started to walk away when he heard her approach him from behind.
